You can promote external content on GM Binder!
– Thu, Oct 03, 2019 at 10:11:53 PM
One of the more interesting questions that we have received since starting this campaign is focused around the idea of how authors can promote their work that is hosted on other platforms.
Because of these conversations, we have decided to add a new feature to GM Binder that will allow you to create entries in your profile for external content. This means that you will be able to upload a cover page image, provide a title, set tags, and provide a URL for you Patreon, Kickstarter, etc content.
We will then display these documents on your profile and will provide some sort of visual indicator that it is external content so that readers who see it will know what to expect.
We're still working out the details on this, and should have a mockup to show you all in the coming days.
If you find this feature interesting, spread the word!Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, and Instagram are great places to do so!
We are really excited about this and have gotten a ton of great feedback on it. If you would like to participate in future GM Binder conversations, join our Discord!
Thanks!

Update #6 - DungeonFog + GM Binder Sitting in a Tree...
– Wed, Oct 02, 2019 at 01:17:07 AM
We are super excited to finally be able to announce that DungeonFog and GM Binder have plotted a course for working together long into the future. The details are still coming together, but the intent is solid: Provide users of both platforms a way to easily move content from one platform to the other.
For example, after linking your two accounts together, in GM Binder you will have a new menu in the Snippets Wizard to view a list of your maps in DungeonFog:
After selecting a map, you will have options to pull in different bits of content. Maybe you want your full map pulled in. Or maybe you only want a break out of each room. Or maybe you only want the descriptions of each. Ultimately, you'll have that flexibility, and will have the full power of GM Binder to continue laying out and publishing your content.
Here are a couple of mocks of what the automated output might look like:
We are so excited about having the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of people at DungeonFog. The work that they have done with their existing tool and their roadmap for where they are going with Project Deios is going to help solidify them as THE tool for map creation.
This partnership also helps to solidify GM Binder as THE online tool for TTRPG content layout, publishing, and consumption by giving our users one of the most unique tools available to date.
Let us know what you think of this in the comments! How will you leverage this power?

Well, shoot.
I intended to post an update for this last week, but I apparently never hit the Publish button!
We have a few social stretch goals running right now to allow us to add new document themes to GM Binder. Do what you do and Share / Retweet / Like these to the best of your abilities!
Update #4 - What Is GM Binder?

What Is GM Binder?
Seems like a silly question to ask here right? For many of you, you've been using GMB for a long time now, so the answer to that question is simple for you.
But with a Kickstarter campaign of this size, we are of course getting a whole new set of eyeballs on GM BInder, and let's be honest - Our current landing page doesn't really tell you a lot about what GM Binder is.
Because of this, we've put together a series of YouTube videos to help answer some of the basic questions. All of these videos are focused on where we're going with the platform and are intended to be easier to digest than reading through a bunch of text.
If you see someone asking about GMB in a forum somewhere, or on Reddit, or wherever, send them a link to this playlist. Each video is only a few minutes long, so they are pretty easy to digest.
